She brings both professional expertise and lived experience as an autistic/ADHD behaviour analyst to her teaching and supervision. Living and working on Garigal Land, she honours the custodians of the Eora Nation, who have cared for Country, culture, and community for tens of thousands of years. Now focused on training, supervision, and supporting the education of aspiring behaviour analysts, Lauren’s work draws on contextual behavioural science, human rights, and person-centred, values-led practice. She is committed to decolonising, intersectional approaches that promote ethical, individualised, and meaningful behaviour support.

Why Seven Dimensions?

The seven dimensions of applied behaviour analysis lend credence to a hallmark journal article in the behaviour analytic literature, Baer, Wolf & Risley (1968). The article discusses attributes of the science of behaviour analysis that can inform ethical, practical, effective and humane supports. This includes:

  • being socially significant

  • describing behaviour clearly

  • being analytical by utilising data to inform decisions

  • ensuring support is effective

  • being conceptually systematic and applying a scientific curiosity to all work

  • utilising behavioural science technologies, and,

  • planning for generalisation so skills are maintained across multiple environments, people, and resources.

These dimensions have underpinned all of our Clinical Experience and Supervision and provide an astute framework for providing support within a behaviour analytic system.Contact us to find out how we can help you with your supervision, consultation, and further education needs.
